The University of Kentucky Lexington Community Nutrition Clinic (UKLCNC) is a free student-run clinic that focuses on personalized nutrition counseling. Students, under the supervision of a registered dietician or physician, help patients explore their current food choices and give common-sense strategies to help them improve their diet. The goal of UKLCNC is to empower Kentuckians to take an active role in their nutrition, which can ultimately prevent the development of chronic diseases, as well as improve the management of existing diseases.
